Anyone a medical transcriptionist?

Do you have to have any type of degree for medical transcription to actually get a job. I did the online medical coding and billing specialist don't really think I learned enough to be able to do it from home, which is what I am trying to do so I can stay home with my 5 month old. Please let me know.
