Anyone had any bad experiences with CashCrate?

So many people say it's great and they make pretty good money and others try to tell you not to use it because it sounds too good to be true. I was thinking of asking my mom if I could use it, but I'm trying to gather as much information as possible to tell her first. So has anyone heard of something bad happening by using CashCrate or actually had something bad happen to them.
